The conversations about Krishnamurti's vision resulted in reflective works during this period. In all those years it was taken for granted that he would visit us on our birthdays and, thanks to Eva's unconventional attitude, he was welcome on Mother's days as well. For the grandchildren, Jaap would play the much appreciated role of Sinterklaas (St Nicholas). Within these contexts he also attempted to rebuild his relationship with Eve. She, however, did not go along with this
